January 2008 - The Pontiac Archives is pleased to receive a donation of a used computer in excellent condition. Software includes Microsoft Windows 98, Word, Excel and Powerpoint complete with printer. It is set up in the Fiche Room. It will be loaded with our Family Tree software, and can be used by all researchers. It will be available to volunteers to use for any task not requiring access to the Internet.
January 8th the Pontiac Archives opened for regular hours.
Binders have been completed for the Villages of Bryson, Calumet Island, Ladysmith-Greermount & Oktoberfest, Portage du Fort, Quyon and Shawville.
Binders filled with information about the remaining villages will be worked on in the coming months.
